In A Bikini On Instagram

The official beginning of summer,  but with temperatures sometimes in the 80s, were all feeling the heat a little early this year. A very pregnant Kristin Cavallari showed off her baby belly in a bikini this weekend, relaxing poolside with three of her gal pals in sunny California to celebrate one of the girls bachelorette party. If the blazing sun caused the reality star any discomfort, youd never know it from her smiling face. It just keeps getting better. star impressed me just last week by successfully balancing in heels while expecting, and now Cavallari has upped the pregnancy goals by looking oh so adorable in her little bikini and peek-a-boo-we-definitely-see-you baby belly.

I also should note that more times than not, Cavallaris wholesale bikinis style is definitely affordable fashion. In fact, I have a very similar bikini to the one shes sporting for her gal pals celebration. So, if you’re thinking, “hey, that’s a cute, simple combo,” you would be correct. The look is relatively simple, but something about it just works so well. Her confidence, her overall disposition — I mean, I know that saying pregnant women “glow” is kind of cliché, but look at her: It’s totally true.

Throw on a pair of white side-tie bottoms and a simple black bikini top and youve got yourself a Kristin Cavallari swimsuit.

Fowler lights up The Players in mismatched neon shoes

Rickie Fowler caused quite the stir when he showed  up for Thursdays opening round of The Players Championship with his feet stuffed into a pair of shocking pink and yellow golf shoes.

Fashion-bucking/setting new balance 574 running and neon are nothing new for the three-time PGA Tour winner, who regrettably made the flat-billed cap a popular item on the mens circuit and regularly dons attire that would make John Daly blush. The spikes he donned for the first 18 holes at TPC Sawgrass did not go unnoticed by the folks at home.

The suits at Puma, Rickies clothier of choice, are likely  laughing all the way to the bank.

In this observers humble opinion, those kicks are wicked pissah (that’s Boston-ese for cool). While were pretty certain the shoes had nothing to do with it, Fowler got off to a fast start, with two birdies in his first three holes.

Golf Channel analyst Nick Faldo even came up with a name for Rickie’s foot warmers.

Rickie, who hopes to be the first Players champion to go back-to-back,  dropped a shot on the par-4 fifth and was 1-under through five — eight strokes back of early clubhouse leader Jason Day.

Vera Wang unveils ‘lingerie inspired’ bridal gowns for spring/summer 2017

It seems bridal dress designer Vera Wang has heard the cries of the “free the nipple” campaigners and responded with her spring/summer 2017 bridal collection.

Following in lingerie manufacturer the dare-to-bare footsteps of Kate Moss, Rihanna, Kim Kardashian West, Kendall Jenner, and Miley Cyrus, Wang’s Désir à l’Anglaise (Desire in English) collection, inspired by gowns worn by the monarchy in past centuries, includes some daring, “lingerie inspired” designs amongst her more renowned for traditional, full-skirted ball gowns.

For her look book shared ahead of the show, Wang’s models showed off the sheer dresses in true form – sans bra. However, for the Sydney showcase, models played it safe in underwear and lining – but presenting the gowns over high tea and champagne on a Wednesday afternoon may have had something to do with that.

“If it’s a church wedding, I would really recommend adding the lining,” laughed Yvonne Yeoh, CEO of YTD, the Australian distributor of Vera Wang. “But if it’s a beach wedding or something very informal, why not? It really depends on the bride.”

Despite toning this collection down and making it more commercial than her fall/winter 2016 line, Yeoh believes Wang has taken some risks but adds that modern brides have become “more edgy too”.

“I think for the most part Australian brides are still very traditional, very conservative and it’s all about being classy, but I think Vera Wang has taken it up a notch to play around with tradition to see which brides will take that risk,” Yeoh said.

If you’re wondering what type of bride might decide to throw tradition out the window in favour of sex appeal with a side of va va voom, Yeoh says: “These dresses are for the younger bride. Those who keep track of fashion will be most interested.”

And for those with a budget of between $5000 and $30,000.

For those hoping to keep something for the wedding night, look forward to a polo neck style that can also be transformed by the celebrity designer’s New York team into a crew neck, mini crinolines, expert hand beaded full sleeves, corsetry, modern plunging necklines, bralettes with tulle overlay and high neck and strapless ball gowns.

Brides-to-be can try on the latest looks at the Vera Wang boutique downstairs at the InterContinental Hotel on Macquarie Street, Sydney.

“Most celebrities travel with a ‘glam squad’, and that’s totally respectable, but I really want to encourage and inspire woman to put it in their everyday life.

“There is nothing I am doing that is magic. I do my own hair and make-up and it is just finding ways of infusing glamour into your normal life.

“You don’t just have to lead straight to the cotton white things to have something that is also functional.

“I am a ‘glamour evangelist’ and yes, I may take it a bit too far sometimes but sometimes you just need to be willing to try new things.”
